A Must Watch
Clive Scarff covers everything about the golf swing. In my opinion, this tape is for every level of golfer including teaching professionals and coaches at all levels. This tape is about the golf swing that is used in pitching and hitting full shots. I encourage golf coaches to play this tape for their students and have a question and answer period afterwards. The production was done very well and the background of Glen Abbey Club House and practice facility is stunning. The questions at the end that are asked by golfers are very important. When our inch of snow melts, my thoughts before my next golf swing will be to hit down dammit and throw my right hand at the ball. I will never worry about lifting my head, keeping my eye on the ball, sweeping my long irons, a high finish, or moving my head again. I will also hit down on my driver. Thanks, Keith Dunkelbarger--Pekin, Illinois
Hit Down, indeed..
I bought the e book 'Hit Down, Dammit!', years ago. My rating is really based more on the book, but the video conveys the concepts just as well. This is a true 'panacea' for the average golfer.
Some good content but not well edited
There are some useful concepts in this video but it is poorly edited. Too many unnecessary transitions between each topic. For example, the instructor will talk for about 30 seconds on a topic and then the transition to the next topic takes about 15 seconds. I'm exaggerating a bit but I felt like I was waiting too long to hear the next topic. It annoyed me. And then when I finally did, the takeaway was to just "hit down." There were some other concept he taught that were contrary to what most instructors teach like the right hand goes along for the ride or ball position should be the same for every club. Its worth checking out and learn what you can.
